Senior School

As educators, it is our responsibility to prepare our students for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. With a rapidly changing landscape encompassing technological advancement, globalisation, and environmental sustainability, the next generation need to be equipped with the skills and knowledge to navigate and succeed in an ever evolving world.

We deliver educational excellence

We offer a comprehensive range of subjects from Year 7 to Year 12 to allow students the opportunity to pursue subjects they are interested in and passionate about.

The subjects students study develop from a core program in Year 7 to an elective program as they progress to Year 12. Subjects are clustered within the following learning areas:

We encourage authentic discovery

St Aidan’s balances deep learning, challenge and innovation. We provide an information-rich environment to allow students to engage with knowledge, pose questions and build their understanding.

We tailor our educational programs to meet the needs of each student.

We offer flexibility and opportunity to undertake personalised learning pathways.

We implement evidence-based and innovative educational programs to enable achievement of academic, training and career goals for all students.

We encourage critical and creative thinking to enable transfer and application of learning across academics, engagement and wellbeing.

We identify and communicate essential knowledge, skills and values needed for future pathways beyond the classroom.

We develop student wellbeing and address age specific needs impacting young people through our Pastoral Care Program.
